Inviting team members

Invite people to your workspace by email, choose their role, and manage pending invites.

Sending an invite

Go to Settings → Members (owners and admins only), enter the person’s email, and pick a role — Member or Admin (see Roles & permissions). They get an invite email, and the invite also waits for them in the app.

How invites are accepted

The invitee signs in to crawlie.app with the invited email address (or with a GitHub account attached to it) and sees the invitation banner — one click on Accept invite and they’re in. If they don’t have an account yet, they just sign up with that email first.

Invites are tied to the email address, not a link — there are no shareable invite URLs to leak into the wrong hands.

Managing pending invites

Pending invites are listed in Settings → Members:

  • Re-invite — sending a new invite to the same email replaces the old one.
  • Revoke — remove a pending invite; the email can no longer join.

Seats

The Hobby plan is single-seat — inviting anyone needs a paid plan. Every paid plan (Pro and up) has unlimited seats, so you never do seat math. See Plans.

Removing members

Owners and admins can remove a member from Settings → Members (with a confirmation step). Removal takes effect immediately; the person’s account is untouched — they just lose access to this workspace. Note there’s currently no self-serve “leave workspace” — if you want out of a workspace, ask one of its admins to remove you.
